BJP National president Nitin Gadkari will announce the new national executive committee of the party on March 16, the start of Hindu New Year.

Nagpur: BJP National president Nitin Gadkari
will announce the new national executive committee of the
party on March 16, the start of Hindu New Year.

"The new committee will be named on Tuesday on the
auspicious occasion of Varsh Pratiprada (Chaitra mahina),"
Gadkari told reporters here today.
He however declined to comment on size, composition and
percentage of representation of women and youth in the
committee.

Evading political queries, Gadkari, who inaugurated a
BJP Parliamentary Office here, said it will facilitate members
to interact with people from the constituency on a routine
basis.

Party MPs Hansraj Ahir, Sanjay Dhote and Prakash Jawdekar
will regularly spare time to meet people in city, he said.
The new state president will be decided during party
state convention being held at Jalgaon from April 2 to 4, he
said in reply to a question.

On the slow pace of work on Multi Modal International
Cargo and Passenger Hub (MIHAN), Gadkari urged State Chief
Minister Ashok Chavan and Union Civil Aviation Minister Praful
Patel to hold a meeting in city and discuss the issue.
