New Delhi: One of Gopal Kanda’s closest aide Ankita Singh, who is believed to hold the keys to Gopal Kanda’s many secrets, has come back to Delhi from Singapore. She is, reportedly, willing to cooperate in the Geetika Sharma suicide case.

Ankita Singh is a director of Mint casino in Goa which is a part of Kanda’s MDLR group. In a statement given to Goa Police in 2009, Ankita had claimed to be the wife of Kanda and having a love child from him.

Police had questioned Ankita on a complaint by Geetika, then a senior executive at Mint casino, who had alleged that Ankita had trespassed into her flat in Panaji and threatened her owing to her intimacy with Kanda.

The Delhi Police believe that Ankita could help them unravel the circumstances that led to Geetika hanging herself. Also, Ankita’s name was mentioned by Geetika in her suicide note. The note read: "He (Kanda) has illegal relationship with a woman named Ankita and has a girl child also with her."

Geetika`s family had claimed that Ankita used to call them and ask them to force the airhostess to join back MDLR airlines owned by Kanda.

Geetika Sharma had committed suicide on August 5 alleging harassment by Kanda and his employee Aruna Chaddha, whom she claimed were pressurising her to rejoin. Chaddha is presently in judicial custody.

The police are also expected to question starlet and employee of defunct MDLR Airlines, Nupur Mehta, in suicide case.
