Jammu: The BJP on Tuesday asked the Central
government to obtain all information about ISI operative and
separatist Kashmiri leader Ghulam Nabi Fai from the FBI and
share it with people of the country.
"We want the Congress-led government to get factual
information about Fai and his network and the then share it
with the people," BJP Secretary Kirit Somaiya told a press
On Centre`s chief interlocuter on Kashmir Dileep
Padgaonkar`s name figuring in the list of Fai`s invitees to
attend conferences in the US, he said "we have asked the Union
government to order an impartial probe into the matter."
"Once the government gives a clear and true picture,
then only the BJP will decide whether to take part in the
all-party meeting on interlocutors or not," Somaiya said in
reply to a question.
The FBI recently arrested Fai on charges of receiving
thousands of dollars from Pakistan`s Inter-Services
Intelligence and using these for lobbying to mould the view of
American policy makers on Kashmir.
