Bangalore: Amid controversy over the
Governor issuing notices to Karnataka ministers and summoning
them for a hearing, Union Law Minister Veerappa Moily Sunday said a Governor has powers to seek clarifications as per the
"The Governor (H L Bhardwaj) has only asked some
questions that could have been simply clarified. Such powers
have been vested with him as per the Constitution", he said
