`Govt diverting attention by nominating Sachin`

New Delhi: Baba Ramdev on Saturday accused the UPA government of trying to divert attention from its poor performance by nominating Sachin Tendulkar for Rajya Sabha.

Addressing a press conference, Ramdev said the government is only trying to improve its image by way of such a move.

He said Sachin should be given Bharat Ratna if the government wants to honour him. Not giving Bharat Ratna to Sachin is nothing but politics, he added.

Meanwhile, on the rift in Team Anna over joining hands with him Ramdev said it is all media speculation.

“Anna and I never said that we are merging the two movements,” Ramdev said, adding the Gandhian had only said that “we will stand together”.

My and Anna’s frequency match on issues of black money and corruption, the yoga guru said.

Reacting to Anna’s recent controversial remarks on voters, Ramdev said it is true that votes are sold during elections. The Election Commission has also acknowledged it, he added.

Ramdev further said corrupt corporates and politicians were against his and Anna’s coming together.

I think you are totally foolish if u think that ramde or anna belongs to BJP. BJP, Cong, BSP, SP all parties in india are only for money making. Frauds are all. Or agar app ye kehte ho ki ramdev ko sirf yoga karane ka kaam karna chahiye tab kya aap apna ghar baar or jindgi daaw pe laga doge corruption se ladne me. Rakshaso (Corrupted government ) ko saaf karne ka kaam koi b kar sakta hai.

Mr.Babaramdev: Do you know how to convey your feelings. In your opinion whatever Union Government or Congress government in States do anything is everything political and with a view to divert attention of the public. Your eyes are closed with hatred towards Congress. So you cannot see the reality. As Saddam Hussain before going to gallows what he said you knoow ``If you see anything or anybody with hate then you cannot see the reality``. Open your eyes and talk reality. I am not a Congresswala. But whatever you talk or give public statement that must carry some sanity and shall increase your image. Please don`t stoop down to the street level leaders. Please keep it up your image, dignity, culture and affection which people of India are giving you. You and Mr. Anna Hazare are rounded with psychopants so that you people cannot see beyond that. Come out from that cloud of psychopancy. Please maintain your stature, image and devotion towards your yoga. If I hurt anybody`s feelings I apologise sincerely. I am not a Congresswala.

``Sonia has played her masterstroke by managing to lure Sachin. The Brand Congress and Brand Sonia/Rahul are at an all time low because of the shameless looting Sonia has done. Now to revive her image and do some damage control, she has hooked Sachin. This is nothing but a ploy to exploit Sachin`s image to revive Congress. But Sonia will not get anything out of it. As soon as Sachin is seen as standing with Congress, he will lose his following sooner than he expects. We love Sachin only until he does the right things. All his admirers are going to hate him for breaking their faith. Sachin Tendulkar has just killed the God of Cricket!
