Jaisalmer: Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, was seen touring near the international border in Pakistan in Islamkot, Meerpur Khas, Mithi and Kherpur areas, a report said on Tuesday night.

Islamkot, Meerpur Khas, Mithi and Kherpur in Sindh are opposite south west Tanot area of Jaisalmer border.

According to reports, the movement of Jamaat-ud-Dawah leader near the Rajasthan and Gujarat border were tracked for a month.
Saeed, one of the most wanted terrorists in India, has set up terrorist recruitment camps in the area, a news daily quoted BSF sources as saying.

The BSF has, therefore, been directed to be vigilant along the entire border in Rajasthan.
On Friday, Saeed`s movements were traced in Mithi, Bitala and Islamkot areas where he was seen motivating Hindus to send their children to these camps. On Saturday too, there was information of Saeed`s movements in some border villages, said the daily.

Tightening its noose around Laskhar-e-Toiba, the US had last month added its affiliates, including the JuD, to its list of designated terror organisations and slapped sanctions against two Pakistan-based LeT leaders.

Saeed, who has a habit of spewing venom against India, then also did not spare New Delhi.

"The US government has declared Nazir Ahmed Chaudhry and Muhammad Hussein Gill at the behest of India,” said Saeed in a statement.

The Jamaat-ud-Dawa had blamed “Narendra Modi`s new security team” for the “attack on the Karachi airport”, despite the Tehreek-e-Taliban claiming responsibility.
