Hazare`s agitation premature; govt open to all suggestions: Congress New Delhi: As social activist Anna Hazare continued his indefinite fast for the second day on the Lokpal Bill issue, Congress on Wednesday stuck to its stand that the agitation was premature as government was open to all suggestions.

"The fast by Anna Hazare was premature and in a democracy debates should be held before a policy is framed," party spokesperson Jayanthi Natarjan told reporters here.

Hazare has slammed the Congress for "misleading" the people by dubbing his agitation as unnecessary and premature.

Natarajan said, "While many people won't agree on the Lokpal Bill and have different shades of opinion on the issue, the NAC and other fora are already discussing the proposed legislation.... the far reaching changes suggested by Hazare need broad discussions before a final draft can be arrived at."

At the same time, she added that "no time frame can be set" for taking such decisions as they require wider consultations.

The party had yesterday also termed the indefinite hunger strike by Hazare as "premature", saying the government had already constituted a panel headed by Defence Minister AK Antony to go into the issue.

Congress matured only in looting country`s wealth. Its our hard earned money and we are not yet matured to show door to congress. So, finally we need to blame ourself for all these. Letz we become mature unitedly and throw congress out of this country. Please join hands with Annaji. we can bring change. hopefully, we will

Mr.Anna Hazare saab is correct to choose the path of ahinsa for protest against corruption and in favour of lokpal bill,But let`s think what we have have acheived and what we have lost,we have lost INDIA`S pride by shameful acts of corruption by MOST of our leaders,b`crates and babus,I think we r doing mistake by paying taxes, these people are looting whose money? It`s our money which we earn working very hard and these people are looting it working hardly.Next time we should choose our MLA,MP from our constituencies very carefully, infact with consent of the locals we ourself can choose our leader who is brave, sincere and honest,It is very very diff to find such people, but we have to stand ourself to save our nxt gen from this corruption cancer.(This applies to all the polititions irrespective of any party, caste). Congress was not able to implement it for last 40 year how they can say it was premature step.
Anna hazare has only this option to follow.

In debate you will bring all (stupid/crimnal/420) politician who even don`t know the topic.

Mr. Pawar has time to go and watch complete WC final but he does not have time to think how to bring down the price of onion.
He can have debate for 45 cr tax exemption for ICC but does not have time to attend lokpal bill debate.

I will never vote for congress till my last breath

The strike sure is premature coming after 64 years. It should have come after 640 years after consulting the spineless and corrupt Politicians who are not ashamed of stripping their mother.

The congress wants that till time all the have nots of the party become `have` by looting this country . the bill should not be passed. Also, it wants our so called clean PM to also become a part of the gang so that he also leads a comfortable life after retirement.

Only can a Immature mind and Forked tongue can call Anna Sahebs fasting as ``Premature``. For us Indians it is high noon, while for Jayanti and her cohorts it is premature as they have not hit the 1Trillion Dollar mark yet. Is it that not right Jayanti?
