New Delhi: Reacting to Anna Hazare’s comments that he is not satisfied with the government’s Lokpal Bill introduced in Parliament, senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Saturday said that most of the Gandhian’s demands have been incorporated in the government’s bill.

"Most demands by Team Anna have been incorporated in the Lokpal, the Prime Minister has been included and the CBI has also been to some extent brought under its ambit," Singh said.
Hazare has dubbed the Lokpal Bill as weak as it does bring the CBI under the purview of the anti-graft ombudsman. Further, Team Anna’s demand of bringing Group C and D government workers under Lokpal has also not been met.

Singh said Hazare’s movement has lost track of its objective and was focused on targeting Congress only.

"What they are trying to do is totally political, they are not targeting those who are opposing the bill or those who are opposed to the very concept of the Lokpal. But they are targeting the Congress which has from day one tried to accommodate the views of Team Anna," he said.

Taking a dig at Anna Hazare`s associates, he said: "It is unfair that Anna will be kept hungry and those around him will eat cream. Anna is going to Mumbai from Delhi not because of the cold (weather) but funds."

He also hit out at the BJP for criticizing the government on reservation for Muslims, saying the UPA was not playing politics.
