Hibiscus-flavoured champagne for Krishna in US!

The reception hosted by the US for Krishna had a wide-ranging menu.



Washington: The reception hosted at the US State Department for visiting Indian External Affairs Minister SM Krishna and his delegation had a menu that was wide in variety, tickling both Western and Eastern taste buds.
According to a report in the web site foreignpolicy.com, the menu included savoury parmesan flan, carrot and apricot fritters with vanilla-apricot chutney, Argentinean pulled chicken, petite lamb burgers, samosas, and sesame-encrusted salmon.
The range of cuisine was washed down with champagne flavoured with hibiscus flowers.
