Rajahmundry (AP): The Union Defence
Minister for State M M Pallam Raju today said, human resources
and better scientific development are playing a pivotal role
for the development of the country.
"Our country is producing number of youngsters every
year, but we require new sophisticated scientific knowledge to
achieve good results," he said, adding as existing scientific
knowledge is not reaching the expected level.
"East and West Godavari district are producing around
8,000 graduates, including engineers and Information
Technology. After seeing all these we have established
Kakinada Technology park to use their skills," he said, while
inaugurating Optical Network Laboratories in Kakinada.
This year Technology park has produced Rs 850 lakhs
worth IT products, it will increase their target products to
Rs 1500 lakhs by next year, he said.
"Every year 60,000 persons are retiring from the
Indian Arm services, and they are given training in different
field," he said.
The Bharat Electronics Limited Bangalore,
Opto-Electronic Laboratories, Honeywell Technology Solutions
and Simcro Servo Global Solution Private Limited entered into
a mutual understanding in the presence of Raju and JNTU Vice
Chancellor A Appa Rao.
