I-Day preparation: Air space over Delhi closed for 2 hours

Air space over Delhi was closed for two hours today in preparation for the Independence Day function resulting in rescheduling of about 20 flights.

closed for two hours today in preparation for the Independence
Day function resulting in rescheduling of about 20 flights.

A NOTAM (Notice To Airmen) was issued by the Delhi Air
Traffic Control to the airlines advising them to reschedule
their flights during this period.

The airspace within 60 km radius of IGI Airport will
also be closed tomorrow from 1300 hours to 1500 hours for the
air exercises.
