New Delhi: Senior BJP leader LK Advani on Monday heaped praises on Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama saying he shares "bonds of affection and mutual esteem" with him.
In his latest blog posting, Advani said his interaction
with the Buddhist monk at the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar enhanced
his respect for the spiritual leader manifold. "His humility,
his nobility, his positivity - all are very transparent
traits".
The BJP veteran quotes yoga guru Ramdev as saying that
it is the Dalai Lama`s "child-like simplicity that makes him
so likeable".
Advani said he shared dais with the Tibetan leader at
Haridwar during the launch of an encyclopedia on Hinduism,
which was also attended by Ramdev.
