Dehradun: The police in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun have arrested two suspected militants believed to be members of the Hizbul Mujahideen.
It is believed that the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun was on the terrorists’ radar as a map of the facility has been recovered from their possession.
The arrests came at a crucial time, just a day before a passing out parade at the IMA today.
A total of 534 cadets would pass out from the portals of IMA after a rigorous training. Chief of Army staff Gen Vijay Kumar Singh would review the parade.
Out of these, 518 cadets would join Indian Army.
