India should demolish terror camps in Pak: Bhagwat

India should demolish the terror camps in Pakistan since Islamabad has "admitted" having no control over the terror groups operating on its soil, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Tuesday.

Bhubaneswar: India should demolish the
terror camps in Pakistan since Islamabad has "admitted" having no control over the terror groups operating on its soil, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Tuesday.

"When Pakistani leadership said they have no control
over terror groups, India should take the responsibility of
demolishing them," Bhagwat told a public gathering here.

Rejecting any mediation by the US in the Kashmir
issue, RSS chief said, "America was acting for its interests
and not that of India."

Admitting that Maoist violence had its roots in
societal backwardness, Bhagwat said the administration should
take up developmental activities to defeat Left wing
extremism.

"Violence is not the means to get justice. Ultras use
exploitation and backwardness as a fodder for their violent
activities," he said.

He said India had shown the world that unity was
possible among different religions, caste and creed and added
that the country`s ethics of love and non-violence was the
`mantra` for survival into the future.

The RSS chief also accused the UPA government and
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of appeasing the minority
community and supporting a policy of providing reservation for
them.

Bhagwat also disapproved of religious conversion,
saying people should be left to their own religions and
tradition without any intervention.

"All the people should be treated on equal terms
notwithstanding their religion," he said.

Expressing concern over climate change, Sangha chief
also blamed the civilised society for not taking care of
nature.

"If you do not have a relationship with nature, nature
will not take care of the society," he said.
