Jaya Prada loses cool, threatens to slap reporter

Actress-turned-politician Jaya Prada lost her cool and threatened to slap a reporter when he asked her a question about her relations with Samajwadi Party, with which she was associated earlier.

"Kya sawal puch rahe hain aap. Ek lafa dungi (What kind of question is this? I will slap you)," Jaya Prada, the independent Lok Sabha MP from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh, said.

"I am expelled by the SP...," she said.

Earlier, she met Praveen Azad, wife of slain DSP Zia-ul- Haq, who was shot dead on March 2, and consoled her.
