Indore: Terming Pakistan founder Mohammed
Ali Jinnah as the biggest communal ghost of 20th century,
senior VHP leader Acharya Dharmendra on Sunday said that people
glorifying him will not succeed in winning praises.
"No one can falsify that Jinnah was the biggest communal
ghost of 20th century and responsible for partition of the
nation," Dharmendra told reporters here.
Mahatma Gandhi was against the partition and offered
Jinnah the post of nation's Prime Minister or President. But
he did not agree, he noted.
"The people praising him are not worthy of praise
themselves," he said.
Dharmendra further alleged that senior BJP leader L K
Advani had committed a blunder by visiting the mausoleum of
Jinnah in Pakistan in 2005.
"His visit to Jinnah's mausoleum was a big blunder," he
said.
Criticising expelled BJP leader Jaswant Singh for writing
a book on Jinnah, the VHP leader said that Jinnah was not
secular at all.
