Bhopal: Member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) Maulana Syed Kalbe Sadiq compared Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray with Pakistan founder Mohammed Ali Jinnah saying Thackeray was promoting separatist ideas like Jinnah.

Kalbe Sadiq, who is also the General Secretary of the All-India Shia Ulema-e-Hind, told reporters here last evening that as Jinnah had laid the foundation of country's partition, Thackeray was also promoting separatist forces.

He claimed that there were many ways in which lot of similarities could be found between Jinnah and Thackeray.

The AIPMLB member refused to comment on row created by Shiv Sena over Shah Rukh Khan's film "My Name Is Khan" and said that everyone should abide by the country's constitution.

He suggested that a high-level commission should be set up for impartial probe into sensitive issues and said that it should comprise highly educated non-government members.

no doubht thackrey dividing maharashttian people.he always did religion politicis and marathi manoos politic.he never tried to make unity among mahrashtra people.after his political issue is hindutva for get vote like butter and bread.

DEAR AJAY,

please do not support the idea of Thakre, he is acting like Dhritrashtra , his aim is only to promote his Son.

And he is forgettting that what idea , he is giving to younger generation of india.

He is troughing seeds and one day it will spoil everything.

He and his son will not get any benefits but definately it will become the history of break.

There are more fundamentalist and seperatist leaders in india. Do not compare thackarey with Jinnah. Atleast thackarey has some views and he always stand bye on them. What would you called those hurriyat leaders who are propagating anti India sentiments in the Kashmir are patriot. No way. Whole nation is treating thackarey as villion in SRK Issue. But the ``honourable guest`` have given a fitting reply to him at Pune yesterday. Atithi devo bhav is indeed a culture of India, but to whom SRK and his followers are giving status of deity. Those `Honourable Guest` are getting red carpet welcome by SRK and Media, and those guests have kept them busy in killing innocent peoples. SO everybody should think who is separatist, Thackarey, SRK or Media. So I would like to request SRK and his all film fraternity who support him in last week include Media should welcome all such ``Honourable guest`` to India and help them to perform their tast and feel proud that they have followed the Indian Principle of `ATITHI DEVO BHAV` GO AHEAD SRK AND MEDIA, GOOD LUCK.
