Nagpur: Karnataka Chief Minister, Sadananda Gowda and his immediate predecessor B S Yeddyurrappa landed in the city and held talks with the BJP national president Nitin Gadkari at his residence here.
Gowda and Yeddyurappa flew here by a special flight and then drove straight to Gadkari`s residence in Mahal in eastern parts of the city to hold a closed-door meeting.
They were accompanied by Karnataka party general secretary Dharmendra Pradhan, joint organising secretary V Satish and organising secretary Santosh.
Top Karnataka leaders meeting with Gadkari has assumed significance in the wake of CBI arrests of party stalwart and former Minister Janaradhan Reddy and B V Srinivas Reddy in connection with the alleged illegal mining.
Gadkari, who was in Delhi earlier, arrived here this morning by a service flight and held talks with them for quite some time.
The Karnataka leaders will return after lunch at Gadkari`s residence.
