Lala Lajpatrai remembered on his martyrdom day

Moga: Great freedom fighter Lala Lajpatrai
was today remembered on his 81st martyrdom day at his native
village Dhudike in Moga district.

A large number of people paid their tributes to Lajpatrai,
also known as `Punjab Kesari`.

The Lala Lajpatrai Birth Place Memorial committee also
organised a function in which Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet
Singh Badal was the chief.

Badal paid floral tributes at Lalaji`s memorial and then
he went round the martyrs galary at the memorial.

Later addressing the gathering at the memorial, Manpreet
Badal lauded the role of freedom fighters because of which the
country became Independent.
