Left stalwarts to meet Chinese leaders tomorrow

New Delhi: Top leaders of Left parties will meet their counterparts of Communist Party of China (CPC) here on Monday to discuss relationship between both the countries as well as party-to-party relations.

A group of CPC leaders are in the capital to attend a conference "China and India: 60 Years and Beyond" organised by the Congress party here.

CPI(M)'s Prakash Karat and Sitaram Yechury, CPI's AB Bardhan and D Raja and Forward Bloc's Debabrata Biswas and G Devarajan will meet the Chinese leaders including Polit Bureau member Zhou Yongkang.

The leaders are expected to discuss party-to-party relations and India-China relations, a senior Left leader said.
