Lokayukta: BJP’s double face exposed, says Sibal

New Delhi: Reacting to the Gujarat High Court verdict upholding the appointment of Lokayukta in Gujarat, Union minister and senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal asked the Narendra Modi government to accept the verdict with respect.

Sibal said the row over Lokayukta’s appointment by the Gujarat Governor had also exposed BJP’s double face.

“The BJP wants strong Lokpal at the Centre but no strong Lokayukta in the state,” Sibal told reporters here.

“It is now clear to the people of the country that the BJP has two-fold policy,” Sibal said, adding one for the state governments where they are in power and the other for the Centre.

He noted that Gujarat did not have Lokayukta for almost a decade.

The pertinent question is why lokpal was not appointed by Shri Modiji in Gujrat during last 8 years. Has he made any attempt in that direction. Was governor forced to do it or she diid it with some ulterior motives to embarrass the state government of which she is the constitutuional head. i have been an ardent supporter of modiji but here it appears that he had erred somewhere.

Mr.Sibal has no face. Why congresswala so over reactive after hearing the decision of hon.High Court. let the apeax decide on the meriat of this case.Then only we will comment.As far as Congress and Dig Vijay singh is concerned let Congress party decided whther home minister is right or Dig Vijay.who has taken a jon to comment in each and every issue without knowing the fact. Let the congress party why they alloted 4.5 % reservation to Muslim in the obc quata.What about other minorotoes like sikhs, Jain, parsi. They are also the citizen of this nation. This is nothing only pure vote bank politics.God save this country from the hand of congress.

Strange!!! Strong Lokayukta means the one appointed by the Governer? History has mant time proved that Governers are the tools in the hands of Ruling Party at the centre and ex politicians. How can we expect strong Lokpal from the Governers Mr HRD Minister Ji? If BJP has double face CONG has multiple faces which cannot be counted!!!
