Make efforts for betterment of society: Advani to youths

Bharatpur: Veteran BJP leader L K Advani on Saturday asked youths to strive towards bringing a positive shift in society.

Several social evils and issues need urgent attention and youths should make efforts for betterment of society, he said at a college function here.

Poblems of poverty and unemployment are of serious nature and these must be addressed properly, Advani said.

The former Deputy Prime Minister said he had seen all Lok Sabha elections since 1952 but "politics has now become polluted".

Saying he would not speak much on politics, Advani asked students to take inspiration from Swami Vivekananda who had brought laurels to the nation.
