Malayalee child in Queen`s Diamond Jubilee Choir

Twelve-year-old Kevin John, an Indian-origin youngster from Kerala on Tuesday sang in the choir at the thanksgiving service to celebrate the Queen`s Diamond Jubilee at St Paul`s Cathedral.



London: Twelve-year-old Kevin John, an Indian-origin youngster from Kerala on Tuesday sang in the choir at the thanksgiving service to celebrate the Queen`s Diamond Jubilee at St Paul`s Cathedral.

The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, and many members of the royal family, attended the National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul`s Cathedral.

The service was conducted by the Dean of St Paul`s, The Very Reverend Dr David Ison, and the Archbishop of Canterbury preached.

Kevin is a pupil at the St Paul`s Cathedral School with a choirster scholarship and is in the St Paul`s choir.
Kevin`s parents Saro and John (Jibu) are from Pathanamthitta.

Kevin`s grand parents have flown in from Kerala to see young Kevin singing in front of the Queen.

The Jubilee Choir is made of 40 specially selected choirsters from across the UK aged between 11 and 13.
