New Delhi: On the eve of the presentation of
the Railway Budget, Mamata Banerjee today met Prime Minister
Manmohan Singh at his residence, with a senior railway
official terming it as a customary interaction.
"It was a customary interaction ahead of the presentation
of the Railway Budget," said the official.
Earlier, during an interaction with the reporters, she
said the budget is dedicated to the common man.
"It is dedicated to janata as common man is our asset and
strength," Banerjee said as she gave final touches to the
Budget 2010-11.
Refusing to say anything on the budget proposals, she
said "wait for tomorrow to know everything."
