Motor vehicle inspector is allegedly worth Rs 1.7 crore

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Tuesday unearthed disproportionate assets worth over Rs 1.7 crore allegedly belonging to a motor vehicle inspector in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh.

Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh.

Simultaneous searches were conducted by the ACB officials
at the residences of Venna Nageswara Rao, motor vehicle
inspector in Wyra Mandal of Khammam and that of his relatives,
which revealed that he possessed assets of Rs 1.7 crore, ACB
claimed here today.

Rao allegedly owns ten flats, six plots, 340 gm of gold,
870 gm of silver and has a bank balance of Rs 20 lakh, an ACB
release said.

Further investigation is on, it said.
