Patna: LJP supremo Ram Vilas Paswan today
said his victory in the Rajya Sabha elections would further
strengthen the bond between his party and RJD headed by Lalu
Prasad.
The former Union Minister, who was fielded by RJD-LJP
combine, described his victory before the state assembly polls
by year end as a slap on the face of "communal forces
represented by the NDA."
"I thank the MLAs of RJD, LJP, CPI and Independents
for voting in my favour," he told reporters here.
Paswan said the RJD-LJP alliance had become stronger
after the outcome of Rajya Sabha polls.
