New Delhi: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday met former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, with whom he had worked together earlier during his previous regime.
Pakistan officials termed it as a courtesy call. The Pakistan premiere spent few minutes at Vajpayee`s residence.
Sharif also shared some fond memories of his association with Vajpayee with Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who accompanied him to the former prime minister`s residence.
Vajpayee had undertaken a bus yatra to Lahore in 1999 as prime minister, after which a regular bus service between Lahore and Delhi was initiated.
