Vadodara: Former President APJ Abdul Kalam
on Thursday said he proposed to launch a movement involving youths
to fight against corruption.
A corruption-free environment is needed in the country,
he told reporters after a function at Baroda Medical College
"Why are (corrupt) people behind the bars... it is
because there are number of laws dealing with the issue of
corruption," he observed without making any remarks on Anna
Hazare`s movement against corruption.
Earlier addressing the students of the college, Kalam
justified the expenditure being incurred on moon and Mars
mission saying there will be need for another habitat after
sun stops shining after 5 billion years.
