New Delhi: At a time when the nation is anxiously waiting for the release of Gandhian Anna Hazare from the high security Tihar jail, Hazare’s close aide Kiran Bedi said that negotiations are still on between the government and Team Anna over the proposed fast venue and the duration of the fast.

“Top police officials have met Anna inside the prison. Talks are going on for the number of days the fast will go on. We have asked for 30 days,” Bedi said addressing the sea of Anna’s supporters outside Tihar Jail.
Relaying Anna’s message to his supporters, Bedi said, “The discussions on fast venue are yet to be concluded. We have asked for Ramlila Grounds. Because the space of JP Park will fall short for such a huge movement.”

Bedi asked the supporters to clear the main gate of Tihar Jail and gather at Prison Head Quarter gate, from which Anna is expected to come out.
“This is the route by which vegetables and milk reaches for prisoners. We should not obstruct the route. We are here for a cause. We should not obstruct anyone,” the social activist said.
