New timetable of Northern Railways to be effective from June 30

The new time table of Northern Railways will come into effect from the midnight of June 30.

New Delhi: The new time table of Northern Railways will come into effect from the midnight of June 30. This year, a total of 42 passenger trains are being added, out of which 33 trains would be mail and express trains and nine would be local trains.

Northern Railways has also announced two Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) trains and one MEMU train for the National Capital Region (NCR). The routes and timings for the new trains have been finalised.

In the new time table, the frequency of 9 express trains has been increased and the routes of 17 have been expanded.

According to the new time table, 10 trains would now run during the day instead of night and the numbers of two trains have been changed.
AC Express from New Delhi Railway Station to Katra would run for 6 days a week and Superfast train would run from New Delhi Railway Station to Bhubaneshwar. A new train would run from Delhi Sarai Rohilla Station to Ferozpur, Sikar and Rajkot.

Lokmanya Tilak AC Express would now run from Hazrat Nizzamudin Station, Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram.

New trains would be flagged off from Old Delhi Railway Station to Chapra, Ambala Cantonment and Hoshiyarpur.
