Kochi: The National Investigation Team
(NIA) today produced the case diary relating to the 2006
Kozhikode twin blasts case before the CBI special court here.

Suspected Lashkar operative T Nazir is the main accused
in the case.

The case diary relates to the investigation in the twin
cases since the NIA took over probe from Kozhikode Crime
Branch police.

NIA is probing various terror related cases in Kerala.

Nazir, presently lodged in a Bangalore jail, had been
questioned by NIA officials in the March 3, 2006 Kozhikode
blasts, the CBI Special Prosecutor told the court.

More interrogation of Nazir and other accused was needed
to unearth the links between them in Kerala and other states.

Special Judge S Vijaykumar rejected the bail application
of third accused Abdul Halim. His plea to transfer him from
Viyur central jail in Thrissur to Kannur was again rejected.
