Thiruvananthapuram: Police have yet to determine who placed a crude explosive on board a Kingfisher flight from Bangalore to Thiruvananthapuram two days ago, police said Tuesday.
"Investigations are on and we are yet to make any breakthrough," Kerala Inspector General of Police A Hemachandran said.
He denied speculation that two people had been detained. "No one has been arrested... The media is going overboard."
The explosive was found in the cargo section of the plane Sunday morning, triggering a scare.
