Kolkata: The CPI-M on Thursday said that it had no
expectation from the Railway Budget to be presented in
Parliament on Friday and that it would offer "nothing special"
for West Bengal.
"No expectation from the rail budget as the exchequer
is empty", CPI-M politburo member Biman Bose told reporters
when asked what he expects from the railway budget.
Asked how he would rate Mamata Banerjee as a Railway
minister, Bose, also the CPI-M state secretary, said, "She
may get marks for being a speaker, but will score nothing as a
performer."
