No place for flattery in Congress: Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi Tuesday said flattery can have no place in the party and its youth wing.

Sendhwa (MP): Congress general secretary,
Rahul Gandhi Tuesday said flattery can have no place in the
party and its youth wing.

"Those who believe in flattery should leave Congress or
Youth Congress and join BJP," he said at a meeting here.

He said the days of using friends or relatives to make
progress in the Congress were also over.

"I have put an end to flattery in some states," Rahul
said, adding that this will happen soon in Madhya Pradesh
also.

The Congress general secretary said that if tribals
wanted to ensure their development, they must bring forward
good leadership.

Rahul suggested them to emulate tribals in Orissa who
worked for their rights.

He also paid tributes to the leader of opposition in the
Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Jamuna Devi who passed away recently.
