Washington: Asserting that there was "no
change" in its policy on Kashmir, the US has said the issue
ultimately lies in the hands of India and Pakistan to have a
"significant dialogue" in resolving the dispute.

"The issue of Kashmir has come up on a regular basis
in our discussions with India and with Pakistan," State
Department spokesman PJ Crowley told reporters at his daily
news conference.

"There`s no mystery here. No policy change. Our answer
to officials of both the countries is generally the same, that
ultimately it`s Pakistan and India that have to have a
significant dialogue and resolve the issue of Kashmir," he
said.
