No surgical strike on terror camps in Pakistan: Govt New Delhi: India today ruled out the possibility of any surgical strike on terror camps inside Pakistan, but asserted that adequate measures would be taken to ensure its interests are protected.

"No, no," Minister of State for Defence M M Pallam Raju, said when asked about the possibility of surgical strikes on terror camps inside the neighbouring country.

He told reporters here, "We will take adequate measures to see to it that our nation is safe, our citizens are safe, and our interests are safeguarded."

While expressing hope that Pakistan will act against terror camps operating from its soil, he said India will also ensure that its interests are protected and the nation is secure.

"The first responsibility is towards ensuring adequate security towards which we are leaving no stone unturned.

Beyond that whatever information we have about these camps, we have brought it to the notice of our neighbour and we hope they will take action on that," he said on the sidelines of a seminar at the Institute of Defence Studies and Analyses here.

"It is a stated policy that they (Pakistan) will do infiltration in Jammu and Kashmir. Across the borders, we are taking adequate safety measures and we are continuing to talk to that government. I am sure there will be results at the end of the day," he said.

Defence Minister A K Antony had yesterday said there were 42 terror camps inside Pakistan and that the neighbour had not done enough yet to dismantle the terror infrastructure.

On the gaps in the Army's anti-tank missile systems, Raju said the Defence Ministry would provide whatever capability the Services needed within the time frame that they sought.

"The entire endeavour of the Ministry is to supply the capability that the Services want within the time frame that they seek," he said.

Asked if the Defence Ministry would do away with the system of 'Sahayaks (batman)' for Army officers as strongly recommended by a Parliamentary committee, Raju said it was for the concerned Service to examine it, just like the Air Force and the Navy have acted on it.

"It is for the Army to look into it and see what is appropriate," he added.

No wonder this is the need of the time to teach some good lessons to the terrorists and their lords but the problem is the international community which is helping Pakistan in spreading terrorism in India by supplying them billions of dollars help. Nor today never before today Pakistan was an economically strong state and they are actually a failed state whose corrupt political system have enraged the entire country. Jihad is the only slogan with with they are fooling their country men. Sooner or later India have to decide that enough is enough and we need to reply them once for ever.

PP TALWAR - India
As per the adage ``All is fair in love and war``, Indian government should not wait for Pakistan to attack India first by using their nuclear weapons by surpise. Instead, by following the exmple of Isreal and US, indian government should be aggressive in dealing with Pakistan who knows only the language of brute force. We should shun the habit of closing our eyes, thinking that we are safe like the good old pigeon which closes its eyes on seeing the ferrocious cat in front, ready to pounce on it. The 42 terrorist camps in the POK in close vicinity of Indo-Pak border, across the LOC in J&K are a perpetual threat to India`s security and soverignty.

The bottom line is that India cannot dare to attack in Pakistan and this results that Pakistan is the responsible state in the region with the maximum defending forces. India should not think to do this cheap actions and the public of India too realizes it very greatly. have patience and deal and talk with Pakistan equally than only the solutions can be solved Zeenews you should post my comment immediately.

HM & DM has a `` BIG COMMUNICATION GAP ``. Before 4 days in INDIA CONCLAVE PC was talking about `` Swift Action `` & now Anthony, Pellam Raju, Krishna, Tharoor talks different. If UPA cannot fight PAK`s Terror and protect Citizens, better go Home & Sleep. Please don`t waste Country`s Wealth, Health & Time. Everyday`s different statements from different Ministry, just proves them a bunch of Jokers.

Guys, guys relax. I think the government has bigger priorities on hand. Don`t you think the attacks of the bees on Mayawatiji`s rally is a far more tragic event that needs immediate attention? I say we deploy all forces and nuclear warheads to exterminate this bees who dared enter Mayawatiji`s rally.

These politicians and bureaucrats are not at all bothered about lives of Indian Army men or common men of India.
These people need security for themselves and make such statements showing there irresponsible behaviour towards sovereignity of the country and its people. THese people should be the first target of terrorists.
