Nothing changed in spectrum issue after Raja`s exit: SP

SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said nothing had changed in the 2G spectrum issue even after Telecom Minister A Raja`s resignation and demanded an in-depth probe into the scam.

New Delhi: Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday said nothing had changed in the 2G spectrum issue even after Telecom Minister A Raja`s resignation and demanded an in-depth probe into the scam.
"What has changed with the resignation of Raja. We and the people want an in-depth probe into the scam," Yadav told reporters outside Parliament here.

The SP has 21 MPs in Lok Sabha.

Asked about the party`s plan on allowing the Parliament session to continue without disruption as Raja has resigned, Yadav said the action that the SP would take would be decided tomorrow inside the House.

"We will decide tomorrow on what needs to be done (inside
the House) on the spot," he said.

Parliament was disrupted for the third consecutive day today due to uproar over the 2G spectrum scam, with the Opposition led by BJP demanding a Joint Parliamentary Probe in the issue.

Raja had resigned as the Telecom Minister last evening after he was directed to do so by DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi after his discussions with the government leadership.
