Now file court case in Kerala from Oman

Rajab Al Kathiri & Associates law firm in Oman has tied up with legal associates in Supreme Court of India and courts in Kerala.

Dubai: Keralites residing in Oman need not travel to India to file a court case. They can do the same without leaving the Gulf country.

Rajab Al Kathiri & Associates law firm in Oman has tied up with legal associates in the Supreme Court of India and courts in Kerala to help both non-resident Indians and Omanis to handle legal issues in India in a trouble-free way, the Times of Oman reported.

"If an NRI has to lodge a complaint either in the Indian Supreme Court or in any of the courts in Kerala, he doesn`t need to travel to India to file the case... Our associates in India will be doing the work for the clients in the Sultanate.”

“It`s not necessary for the client to travel to India to carry out the paper works," said Sebastin K Jose, legal adviser at Rajab Al Kathiri & Associates.

The new venture will come into existence by the official signing of the deal with their legal associates in India today.

"The alliance will help the Omanis also. If an Omani sponsor has to fight a case in India, through the alliance we`ll be able to provide them assistance. We know that in most of the cases, Omanis are being duped by some law firms in India. They are being charged hefty amounts as fee when they seek legal help in India. This can be avoided with our help," Jose was quoted as saying by the newspaper.
