New Delhi: The five-year-old girl ‘Gudiya’, who was brutally raped and tortured by two persons in the national capital in the month of April, spoke exclusively to Zee Media on Tuesday and said that the "uncle" (accused) should be badly beaten.

Speaking to a Zee Media reporter, the 5-year-old girl said that the "uncle" (accused) used to beat her while she was held captive. The same treatment should be meted out to him, she added.

When the channel correspondent asked the minor, whether food was given to her while she was held captive by the accused, the minor responded by saying that no food was offered to her and she didn’t even ask for it.

The little girl further said that she had asked the accused to let her go home but he refused.

While speaking to the reporter, the 5-year-old girl repeatedly said that the "uncle" (accused) was very bad and should be badly beaten.

When she was asked about her ambitions, the little girl said that she wanted to become a doctor.

Meanwhile, Gudiya’s mother said that the culprits should be hanged and demanded the same punishment for the December 16 gang-rape accused, who were convicted on Tuesday.

Narrating her daughter’s plight, the aggrieved mother said that Gudiya still fears going out alone. On her medical condition she said that medicines are being given but Gudiya will need more time to recover.

The Delhi Police had filed a chargesheet in a city court in June against two youths for brutally raping the five-year-old girl, under stringent provisions of newly enacted law for protection of children which entails maximum punishment of life imprisonment.

The kidnapping and rape of the minor in the month of April had sparked public outrage when it was learnt that both the accused had inserted candles and an oil bottle in the private parts of the girl.

The girl was abducted and kept hostage for two days without food and water in the room in which the attackers lived on the ground floor of a building in east Delhi`s Gandhi Nagar. The girl`s family stays in the same building. The girl was rescued when members of her family heard her screams April 17.

The accused Manoj Shah, 22 and Pradeep Kumar, 20, who had fled after committing the crime, were arrested from Bihar.

The offences, for which the accused have been charge sheeted, if proved, entails a maximum punishment of life term.

The chargesheet says that the accused had tried to kill the girl by strangulating and slitting her throat. It said that the accused had fled the spot after leaving the child in the room thinking that she was dead.
