Opposition would not accept anything short of JPC: Sharad

JD(U) national president Sharad Yadav said the opposition would not accept anything short of a JPC to probe into 2G spectrum scam.

Saharsha(Bihar): JD(U) national president
Sharad Yadav on Tuesday said the opposition would not accept
anything short of a JPC to probe into 2G spectrum scam.

"We will accept nothing short of a JPC probe into the 2G
spectrum scam," Yadav told reporters here before leaving for
New Delhi.
Yadav said the opposition leaders had already reiterated
their stand on JPC during the February eight meeting with
Union Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee.
He justified the demand of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish
Kumar for a special package which was promised by the Centre
after the mineral rich areas in Bihar went to Jharkhand after
bifurcation of state in 2000.
