New Delhi: Amidst reports that the Bharatiya Janata Party was not making its stand clear on the division of Andhra Pradesh, Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday said that their commitment to Telangana was `full and final`.

BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar today wrote on the micro-blogging site Twitter - “Congress had to accept our demand to expel their MPs as Telangana people started suspecting Congress` motives in not doing so.”

In another tweet he said, “Now Congress must expel their MPs in Rajya Sabha who are disrupting the House and as well their CM in AP.”

“I asked today why Congress is not bringing T-bill in the meeting of all party leaders in RS Chairman’s cabin. Congress had no answer,” he further wrote.

On BJP`s stand regarding the division of Uttar Pradesh and the formation of a new state, Javadekar wrote, “Some media persons instead of questioning Congress on T-bill are putting up questions to us. Our commitment on Telangana is full and final.”

Taking a dig at the Congress over the contentious issue of Telangana, the BJP leader said, “Congress is confused on T-bill. They don’t know whether it’s a money bill and whether Constitution amendment is required or not.”

The turmoil in Parliament over Telangana continued today also, with Lok Sabha being adjourned for the day at noon after one adjournment soon after it met for the day, and Rajya Sabha being adjourned for the day sometime after 2 pm when it met after three adjournments in the pre-lunch sitting.

Meanwhile, cracking the whip, Congress today expelled six Lok Sabha MPs from Seemandhra who had given a notice of no-confidence motion against government opposing bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. However, a dozen odd party MPs still maintained that they will vote against the Telangana bill when it comes to Parliament, as per PTI reports.

The MPs expelled by Congress president Sonia Gandhi are Sabbam Hari, G V Harsha Kumar, V Arun Kumar, L Rajagopal, R Sambasiva Rao and A Sai Pratap. All these MPs had signed the notice of non-confidence motion along with some MPs from other parties like TDP. There are 25 MPs from the Seemandhra region including 18 from Congress, three from YSR Congress and four from TDP.

Even as the Congress struggles to solve the Telangana tangle, it has asserted time and again that it remains committed to the creation of the new state.
