The alleged Pakistani spy who was arrested in the national capital was working in a mobile phone repair shop in north-east Delhi, police sources said on Monday.

was arrested in the national capital was working in a mobile
phone repair shop in north-east Delhi, police sources said
on Monday.

Mohd Sayeed Ali was arrested from the International
airport here on Saturday when he was trying to board a flight
to Saudi Arabia using a fake passport.

He was working in the mobile repair shop on Loni Road
in the area and staying in Shahadra locality for three years,
sources said.

Investigators have questioned the shop owner as well
as his landlord, they said adding a team of Special Cell
sleuths had gone to Lucknow and Meerut to investigate about
his fake passport.

He was later handed over to Delhi Police`s Special
Cell for further investigations. Police allegedly recovered
maps and documents related to Delhi Cantonment, Meerut
Cantonment and Hindon airbase.

Ali is believed to be hailing from Karachi.
