Bangalore: Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on Saturday described the attack on Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh, who was in a jail in Pakistan, as "most unfortunate" and said there was no democracy or humanity in Pakistan.

"It is very unforunate. We have an example here.
A Pakistani militant who was in jail and because of whom so many people died in a Mumbai hotel, till he was hanged, not only were crores of rupees spent on his protection, even his lawyer`s fee was taken care of", he told reporters here, apparently referring to Amir Ajmal Kasab.
"This is the difference between India`s democracy and humanity and that of Pakistan. We are still following the age old tradition of treating even our enemies in a humane manner. Pakistan has no faith in democracy, no faith in humanity", he said.
