Chandigarh: A delegation of Pakistani advocates, including presidents and secretaries of various Bar Councils and Bar Associations, Thursday called on Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here.

The 35-member delegation was led by vice-chairman of Pakistan's Punjab Bar Council, Muhammad Lehrasib Khan Gondal.

Gondal said such delegations from India and Pakistan, which visit each other's countries, help in strengthening bonds of friendship and mutual understanding between the people of both countries.

Hooda shared his memories of the days spent in Pakistan with the delegation and enquired about some of the legal luminaries of the neighbouring country, an official release said.

The delegation will visit Ajmer to pay obeisance at the dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Muinuddin Chisti.
