Parties should overcome untouchability: Advani

Quoting his mentor Pundit Deendayal Upadhyay, Advani said
the prime motto of a politician should be the national
interest.

"If untouchability is practiced outside, it is called a
sin or against humanity. Same principle is applicable to
political parties also," Advani said during the release of a
book which is a collection of the speeches by BJP leader
Venkaiah Naidu in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Rajya Sabha.
Advani released the English version of the book titled as
"Tireless Voice-Relentless Journey" while the Opposition
Leader in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj released the Telugu version
of the book.

Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, Madhya Pradesh
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his Uttarakhand counterpart
Ramesh Pokhriyal and party leaders Prakash Javedkar and
Gopinath Munde also attended the function.
