New Delhi: LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan
today dismissed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar`s suggestion
that RJD-LJP alliance could join hands with Congress after the
forthcoming assembly polls in the state.

"There is no truth in that. LJP and the RJD are
fighting the elections together and are confident of forming
the government with a two-third majority," Paswan told
reporters here on the sidelines of a function when asked about
Kumar`s statement.

Kumar had recently said the Congress had contested the
assembly polls in 2000 alone, but later all its legislators
were made ministers in the RJD-led government.

"What is the guarantee that such an alliance between
the two parties will not take place after the 2010 assembly
polls?", he asked.
