Pawar aide Javed Khan rejoins Congress

Khan, a close associate of Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, quit the NCP recently.



Mumbai: Senior NCP leader and a close aide
of Union minister Sharad Pawar, Javed Khan on Sunday rejoined the
Congress in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister
Prithviraj Chavan.

Khan, a close associate of Union Agriculture Minister
Sharad Pawar, quit the NCP recently.

The former state Congress minister joined the NCP after
it was formed in 1999, when Pawar left the Congress.

Chavan and Congress Mumbai unit chief Kripashankar Singh
welcomed him in the party fold.
