People must make Anna`s mission a success: Pillai

Ramachandran Pillai on Thursday said it was the reponsibility of
every citizen of the country to make the agitation by
anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare a successful one.

Speaking at the C H Kanaran`s birth centenary celebration,
here, Pillai said that corruption has grown sky heigh in the
country and the agitation by Hazare has become the voice of
people`s conscience in that situation.

CPI(M) and the Left would wholeheartedly support
agitations against corruption, he said.

The economic policy being implemented by Prime Minister
Manmohan Singh will push the country backwards, he alleged.
