Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar
has said resumption of the dialogue process between India and
Pakistan will help build trust and perhaps "lay to rest
post-Mumbai (26/11) period".
"For me, the news of the day is the resumption of
dialogue with Pakistan. Perhaps, the post-Mumbai period can be
laid to rest and trust built", Omar said in his post on

He said in Re-tweet "thank goodness good sense has
returned to the Indo Pak discourse. Let`s hope they stay the
course this time".
India had yesterday announced that Foreign and Home
Secretaries of the two countries will hold talks on
counter-terrorism and a host of other bilateral issues,
including the progress on 26/11 trial in a Rawalpindi court,
ahead of the Pakistan Foreign Minister`s visit to India in
July.
