Mukherjee on Thursday night said Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman
Malik has rightly commented that Ajmal Kasab, the lone
surviving Pakistani terrorist in the 26/11 attack, should be
hanged.
"He (Rehman Malik) has rightly said it," Mukherjee told
reporters at his residence here while commenting on Malik's
remark that Kasab is a terrorist who should be hanged.
Pakistan Interior Minister said at Addu in Maldives that
Ajmal Kasab is a terrorist, a non-state actor and he should be
sent to gallows.
Asked for his comment on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister
Omar Abdullah's demand for repeal of Armed Forces Special
Powers Act (AFSPA) from some parts of the state and also the
Army's reservation on such a demand, Mukherjee refused to
comment.
"I will not react to anybody's observation," he said.
